A Short League History

​The origins of Motown FFL have always been a debate amongst league members. As of today, June 28, 2020 any debate has officially been laid to rest. This league began in 2013 whether you like it or not. It does not matter if you were in the league then. Ethan built this from the ground up in 2013 and his hard work must be honored properly. We must honor all championships as fully legitimate regardless of year, league members, and league size.

Although the league officially began in 2013, 2016 will forever be an important landmark in our history. The 2016 draft marked the expansion from 10 to 12 teams and finalization of what is likely to be the 12 owners for the rest of time.

This league has seen multiple commissioners in a short 4 year period. League founder Ethan Bolson stepped down after coming in last place in the 2017 season. Chris took over and the league quickly went downhill and after just 2 seasons new management has stepped in. Current commissioner Jew and his trusted executive board are faced with the task of making this league great again.
